Work summary
Drivers will load and unload materials as needed and deliver materials to, from and within the jobsite. A commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required for this position.

Operate medium to large trucks to transport materials between corporate job sites using private roads and driving on public highways.
Use forklift and other necessary equipment to load and unload the truck.
Use ropes, blocks or covers to secure the load for transport.
Obtain correct and complete documentation before moving materials.
Gather delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verify directions and routes.
Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle safety inspections and report any defects, damages or necessary repairs.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as adding oil, fuel or fluids.
Maintain hours worked or vehicle maintenance records in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent may be required, with previous years of experience in the field or a related field.
Must have job knowledge skills and job skills.
Ability to understand, follow and communicate written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and layout tools safely and effectively.
Demand
Capable of meeting all physical requirements.
Must have all the necessary tools
For climbing and working at heights and in confined spaces (up to 200 feet)
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to work overtime, nights and weekends as per workload demands
Observe and follow all safety and design regulations. Perform other functions as needed.

Pick Up and Delivery Driver
To describe:
Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership and rental group. As MHC continues to grow, it has Driver jobs for pickup and delivery drivers. The pick-up driver drives the company vehicle in the designated area to pick up the parts at the designated location. Must be able to plan, organize and schedule parts picking and delivery requirements.
Collect and deliver the specified parts in the most efficient way.
Assist shipping and receiving clerks with parts registration and storage.
Ensures proper safety, care and maintenance of company vehicles assigned to the Parts Department.
Maintain driving records within company requirements.
Keep fuel and maintenance records.
Perform other duties assigned to him by superiors.
Qualifications:
Parts related experience is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Customer service experience in a sales/service role.

Summary of work:
The job involves multiple driver’s license tests to determine the eligibility of individual applicants based on clearly defined guidelines. This position will work with clients face to face and over the phone. Duties include conducting vision screenings, entering candidate information into web-based applications, scanning documents, handling cash, and testing vehicles and motorcycles of all sizes. This position requires travel to an adjacent office.
